在过去的一年里,口述历史中心招募和培训了一批社区志愿访员,通过Zoom 视频方式与各界人士进行网上口述历史访谈。

 

讲座将通过过去一年內口述历史中心及社区志愿访员所收集到的口述历史访谈,与大家分享受访者在疫情中工作和生活的经历与感受。

本线上讲座将在Zoom举办,并以华语进行。

 

高丽莲女士是新加坡国家档案馆顾问。她曾担任国家图书馆管理局阅读推广处处长, 策划及 推广了全民阅读的多项活动,设立和发展许多读书会。加入档案馆口述历史中心后,高女士采访了160多位各行各业人士。在过去的一年来, 她協助招募和培训社区志愿访员收集有关冠病疫情对国人的工作及生活的影响。

Warmth in the Midst of a Pandemic

 

Over the past year, the Oral History Centre has been training community volunteer interviewers to conduct online oral history interviews via Zoom. Join NAS consultant Mrs Kiang-Koh Lai Lin as she presents the fruits of the labour, featuring interviews with people from all walks of life and their experiences during the pandemic.

Mrs Kiang-Koh Lai Lin is a consultant at the National Archives of Singapore (NAS). She was former director at the National Library Board, heading its reading initiatives. She ran various nationwide campaigns and promoted programmes to nurture a nation of readers. She also founded numerous reading clubs in the community.

 

Since joining the Oral History Centre at NAS, Mrs Kiang-Koh has interviewed over 160 people from all walks of life. In the past year, she was involved in the recruitment and training of community volunteer interviewers to conduct oral history interviews on COVID-19 via Zoom.
